Residential Excavating was formed in 2009 (originally under a different name) by Nate Crofoot as an outlet to share his love for shaping and grading land and revitalizing properties. What started as a one-man one-machine operation has grown into a full-service site development business. From demolishing existing unwanted structures to facilitating a new build to clearing virgin, undeveloped land for building, we offer a full array of site and utility services.

We understand that our work will be the foundation for many of our customers’ projects, therefore, we place an emphasis on proper sub-base and compaction of materials. We have invested significantly in compaction equipment, including rollers, diesel-powered tampers, hydraulic plate compactors, and other compaction equipment. This ensures that we are providing a product that will not settle and deteriorate over time.
